Emma's Weight Check

Emma went back to see Dr. Bob today for a weight check. The results were very exciting for Daddy and I----- Emma gained weight!!!!! She is up to 7 pounds 3.5 ounces. We were very excited that she had gained. Dr. Bob also went ahead and had her get her immunizations today since we were there and it was safe for her to get them. She got one in each leg and then had an oral one. She only cried for a brief minute after getting them. Guess that is what happens when you have been poked and prodded and had a major surgery all within the first month of your life. We also discussed Emma's reflux issue and she was prescribed with Zantac. Hopefully this will help with her reflux which is causing her to be fussy and not eat as much as she should. We go back for a follow-up with Dr. Bob on May 26th after our appointment with Dr. Kane(Emma's Peds Surgeon) on May 21st. Keep up your prayers, they obviously worked for the weight gain. God is good and the power of prayer is amazing!!!
